Rasi: Smer-SD Slate Won't Be Prepared Based on Merits

Bratislava, September 11 (TASR) - Smer-SD slate for the upcoming parliamentary election will not be prepared based on merits, with the specific names not yet being discussed in the party, Vice-premier for Investments and Informatisation Richard Rasi (Smer-SD) said before the Government's meeting on Wednesday. According to Rasi, the slate will be made up of such names as to achieve success, meaning victory in the election. Rasi also commented on the absence of Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) at a regional assembly on Monday (September 9). According to Rasi, his absence does not mean anything. He confirmed that he himself was not at all the regional assemblies because his work programme did not allow it. "I'm convinced that Peter Pellegrini will lead the Government as a party vice-chair until the election and will be on Smer-SD's slate," said Rasi. am
