Auria Opens New Production Facility in Vrable

Vrable, February 26 (TASR) - A company called Auria Solutions Slovakia officially started operation at its new manufacturing facility in Vrable (Nitra region), specialising in the production of car components and planning to create roughly 100 new jobs this year, TASR learnt on Tuesday. The firm has invested some €8.8 million into the new facility thus far, said general director Brian Pour. "This was our first investment in this region; we haven't received any subsidies from the Slovak Republic to date. However, talks with representatives of the Slovak Government on potential subsidies continue, we're planning to make use of this potential," claimed Pour. Auria Solutions Slovakia also plans to expand its factory in Vrable, with the construction of the second production hall already underway. Upon completion, scheduled within two years, the production capacity - currently standing at manufacturing components for 150,000 cars annually - is slated to double. In the process, another 50 jobs are to be created and the company also plans to invest in R&D. At the moment, the components are produced exclusively for Jaguar Land Rover and Discovery model. "We have the potential and interest to expand and engage in cooperation also with other car makers in the region," said production manager Robert Pasztor. Auria Solutions was founded in 2017 as a joint company of Shanghai Shenda and IAC Group. With its financial headquarters in England and operation centres in the United States, China and Germany, the firm runs 28 production facilities in 11 countries, employing a total of almost 7,000 people. mf
