Bratislava, February 11 (TASR) - US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will hold talks during his visit to Slovakia on Tuesday with young Slovaks on the economic and democratic development in Slovakia in the last three decades.
The debate, which will also focus on the challenges Slovakia faces as a member of the transatlantic community, will be carried out by the Globsec think-tank in co-operation with the US embassy in Bratislava.
"Pompeo's visit is another splendid opportunity where we'll have a possibility to provide a platform for a discussion between young people and the world's creators of politics. Like the visit of Emmanuel Macron in October 2018 the arrival of the US Secretary of State sends a signal that even the greatest world leaders and globally strongest countries care about the opinion of young people in our region," stated the chair of Globsec Robert Vass.
The discussion will be broadcast live on Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS) and social networks.
