Bratislava, 2 November (TASR) - Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is continuing to announce new routes from M.R. Stefanik Airport in Bratislava for next year's summer season, airport spokeswoman Veronika Demovicova reported on Monday.
In addition to a brand-new regular service to Chania on the Greek island of Crete, it will launch another new route as of 1 June 2027 - direct flights to the Spanish city of Girona, near Barcelona.
While the new route from Bratislava to Crete will be introduced at the start of the summer timetable, i.e. as of 28 March 2027, Girona will be accessible by air from the start of the summer holiday season, namely as of 1 June 2027. Flights to Girona are scheduled twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
"The new route is another confirmation of our commitment to offering passengers attractive and sought-after destinations and providing Slovak customers with an even wider choice of options for their summer holidays," said Ryanair's head of communications for Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans Alicja Wojcik-Golebiowska regarding the route to Girona.
