Bratislava, 19 October (TASR) - The opposition Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) possesses democratic mechanisms and is capable of resolving its internal issues on its own, said KDH chair Milan Majersky in response to comments made by KDH MP Frantisek Miklosko in .tyzden weekly, TASR has learnt from Mario Marcinek from KDH. "As chairman, I'll address this matter internally, within the party. I don't consider it right or necessary to resolve differing opinions among colleagues through the media," said Majersky. In an interview with .tyzden, Miklosko stated that KDH Vice-chair Viliam Karas had not discussed his opinion that the loan for Ukraine shouldn't be supported. According to Miklosko, Karas failed to realise that Ukraine was also defending Slovakia's freedom, at the cost of civilian lives. Miklosko added that Karas expressed his personal view only, one that aligns with Smer-SD or the Republic party, and that he had only one ambition - to become KDH chairman. On Sunday (18 October), Karas said on STVR's discussion programme 'O 5 minut 12' (Five Minutes to Twelve) that refusing to participate in the loan for Ukraine was a correct stance. jrg
