Foreign Minister Blanar to Travel to Malta for Working Visit

Bratislava, 10 September (TASR) – Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) will depart for a working trip to Malta where he's due to hold talks with the country's top representatives on Thursday, TASR has learnt from the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry.
"In Valletta, the head of Slovak diplomacy will hold bilateral talks with Malta's Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Chris Fearne. Minister Blanar will also meet President Myriam Spiteri Debono and Speaker of the House of Representatives Carmelo Abela," the ministry added.
According to the ministry, the talks will focus on the further development of Slovak-Maltese relations, economic and parliamentary cooperation, current European and international issues, as well as the future partnership between Slovakia and Malta within the presidency trio of the Council of the European Union, which the two countries will form together with the Netherlands in 2029–2030.
