Slovak AI Firm Sudo Labs Sells 50-percent Stake to Giant Eldridge

Bratislava, 10 August (TASR) - Global investment firm Eldridge has acquired a 50-percent stake in a Slovak AI company called Sudo Labs, making it one of the largest publicly disclosed AI transactions in Slovakia's history, Sudo Labs announced on Monday, without disclosing the sum of the transaction. Sudo Labs has made strategic investments in prominent companies such as A24, Aman Group and Isar Aerospace. According to the FinStat website, the company generated a profit of €198,097 in 2025, while its total revenues reached €4.4 million. Its portfolio also includes well-known sports clubs Chelsea and the Los Angeles Dodgers. "We believe that, in partnership with Eldridge, we can grow into a leading global company in AI deployment while retaining our headquarters in Slovakia," said Sudo Labs general director Jozef Petro. Sudo Labs has been operating in more than ten countries since 2019, with as much as 90 percent of its revenues coming from international markets, primarily the USA. It develops complex agentic AI systems and bespoke machine-learning models for some 50 clients. The company expects its combined revenues from both its Slovak and US entities to reach at least 10 million USD (€8.67 million) this year. At present, more than half of its revenues comes from large global corporations, while more than 80 percent is generated by developing AI products. Sudo Labs also strategically retains a smaller share of leading start-up clients from Silicon Valley, which continue to account for some 20 percent of its revenues. Thanks to them, the company is able to keep pace with the global technology leaders, including in the latest technologies. Founded in 2015, Eldridge is a global holding company that manages a diversified portfolio of companies and investments in asset management, critical minerals, culture and media, defence and security, infrastructure and insurance. ko/df
