Judicial Council Calls Third Selection for Deputy Chair of Supreme Admin Court

Bratislava, 10 August (TASR) - Judicial Council head Marcela Kosova on Monday announced a third selection procedure for the post of deputy chair of the Supreme Administrative Court (NSS), which is to be held on 10 November, TASR has learnt from the Judicial Council's Office. Kosova did so because no candidate was nominated within the prescribed deadline in the second procedure. The date for the new selection procedure has been set in response to the fact that the current term of office of NSS deputy chair Marian Trencan is due to end on 12 October. Eligible nominators may submit their proposals to Kosova until 4 September. "Proposals submitted after the deadline, or those that don't meet all the statutory requirements, will not be taken into consideration," stated the Judicial Council's Office. jrg/df
