Temperature of 39.9 Degrees Celsius Measured in Bratislava - All-time Record

Bratislava, 3 August (TASR) - A new all-time record has been recorded in Bratislava as the temperature in the capital rose to 39.9 degrees Celsius on Monday afternoon, TASR was told by spokesperson for the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMU) Ivan Garcar. The experts recorded the highest temperature at the locality of Koliba, where, according to them, "it was just one-tenth of a degree short of 40 degrees Celsius". The temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius is a new record high for the capital. am
