Huncovce: Missing Three-year-old Found Alive

Huncovce/Bratislava, 28 July (TASR) - A three-year-old boy missing since Monday (27 July) after he disappeared in a maize field near the village of Huncovce in the Presov region has been found alive, the village mayor, Peter Majercak, confirmed to TASR on Tuesday. "The boy was found in a forest, about one kilometre from the Roma settlement," the mayor said. The volunteer Search Team East also announced on social media that the boy has been found and was in good health. Police, firefighters and volunteers were searching for the boy since Monday, including throughout the night. The search operation continued on Tuesday, with a drone and a thermal imaging helicopter from the Interior Ministry's Air Unit also deployed. mf
