'Proud of Family' Nation-wide March to Take Place in Bratislava on Saturday

Bratislava, 15 July (TASR) - The 14th annual nation-wide 'Proud of the Family' march is scheduled to take place on Saturday (18 July) in Bratislava, the organisers told a press briefing on Wednesday, adding that a programme has been prepared for participants, including a Holy Mass, a discussion, and a raffle. "The main idea behind the 'Proud of the Family' nation-wide march is that children need a father and a mother, that their parents' love is irreplaceable for them, and that no one can take their place in the family," noted organiser Anton Chromik. Organiser Marek Nikolov added that the gathering is set to begin at 3 p.m. It will be preceded by a Holy Mass at 12.30 p.m. at the Blue Church in Bratislava, led by auxiliary bishop of Bratislava Jozef Halko, and a discussion on online threats to children at 1.45 p.m. The motto of this year's 'Proud of the Family' event is 'Marriage Protects Children'. am
