Police Detain Four People as Part of Operation 'Doctor'

Bratislava, June 15 (TASR) - Members of the Police Corps Presidium's National Anti-Drug Unit detained four people during Monday's operation codenamed 'Doctor', targeting illegal production and trafficking of narcotic and psychotropic substances, the police posted on social media on Monday. "As part of the operation, the police conducted four house raids and four searches of other premises and properties. During these operations, they seized several items relevant to the criminal proceedings, including suspicious substances and other objects related to the criminal activity under investigation. The seized evidence will be subjected to forensic and expert examination," stated the police. The police added that due to the ongoing investigation, it isn't possible to provide further details at this time. The operation, which was carried out in Bratislava and Nitra regions targeting drugs-related crime, specifically focused on documenting and clarifying the offence of illegal production and trafficking in narcotic and psychotropic substances. am/df
