Foreign Minister Blanar to Leave for Moldova and Ukraine

Bratislava, 4 June (TASR) - Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) is scheduled to travel to Moldova and Ukraine on Thursday and Friday (4-5 June), TASR was told by the ministry's communications department on Thursday.
In Chisinau, he's set to hold talks with Moldovan Vice-premier for European Integration Cristina Gherasimova. They'll discuss bilateral relations and the status of Moldova's EU-accession process. In the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine, he'll deliver humanitarian aid.
"Slovakia's chief diplomat will also be received in Chisinau by Moldovan President Maia Sandu. The minister will also hold talks with Moldovan Foreign Ministry State Secretary Carolina Perebinos, parliamentary committee on European integration chair Marcel Spatar, and head of the Moldova-Slovakia Friendship Group Igor Chiriac," stated the ministry.
In Ukraine, Blanar will visit a health-care facility to deliver humanitarian aid. "In the city of Vinnytsia, he'll hold bilateral talks with his Ukrainian counterpart. The discussions will focus on energy security issues, joint infrastructure projects based on the roadmap, humanitarian aid, as well as the current situation regarding the war in Ukraine and issues related to the European integration process," stated the ministry.
