Drucker: ePrihlasky System Passed Stress Tests, Outage Shouldn't Have Happened

Bratislava, 3 June (TASR) – The ePrihlasky application system underwent stress testing, and the outage on Monday (1 June) shouldn't have occurred, said Education Minister Tomas Drucker (Voice-SD) after Wednesday's cabinet session with respect to the system's technical problems.
The ministry will exercise its rights in relation to the supplier, said Drucker, reiterating that the issues will be investigated.
"We all knew that there would be enormous pressure when decisions started being generated and noticeboards published. I was assured that stress tests had been carried out, and they should have simulated reality sufficiently to reveal such problems," claimed Drucker.
He noted that the system will be analysed for all errors that have been recorded during its operation. At the same time, he emphasised that none of the problems concerned the integrity of the data itself or the system's core functionality.
"As for some minor technical errors, I apologise for them, but that's how it is. It's simply not always possible to prevent everything," added the minister.
Drucker maintained that the ePrihlaska system has brought benefits for both students and parents.
