Bratislava, 3 June (TASR) - The first attempt to open a special session with a no-confidence motion in Defence Minister Robert Kalinak (Smer-SD) as the sole point on the agenda failed on Wednesday, as only 65 lawmakers presented themselves in the chamber, which wasn't enough for the House to be quorate.
The next attempt will follow in 30 minutes, i.e. at 1:45 p.m.
The no-confidence motion in Kalinak was initiated by the Christian Democrats (KDH), who have lambasted him for failures in the construction of Presov hospital. The party is concerned that the project is becoming too expensive and is taking too long. Kalinak has rejected its criticism, calling it purpose-built.
