Government to Deal with Rental Housing, Sale of Land and African Swine Fever

Bratislava, 3 June (TASR) - At its regular session on Wednesday, the government should decide on participation of Vosem Fund in the state-supported rental housing scheme.
Vosem Fund, a mutual fund managed by Vosem Capital, should become an investment partner in the scheme under the law on state support for rental housing.
Robert Fico's (Smer-SD) cabinet will also deal with a proposal to sell state assets managed by Lesy SR to Bratislava's borough of Petrzalka. In line with the proposal, the borough would acquire 17.6 hectares of land around Velky Drazdiak, including the lake, for more than €3 million.
The ministers are also scheduled to discuss a report on the progress and results of the sixth round of monitoring the level of implementation of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages in Slovakia. The Committee of Experts of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages issued 66 recommendations to Slovakia, including 15 recommendations calling for immediate action and 51 other recommendations.
The agenda of the session also includes a report on the current situation concerning the spread of African swine fever.
