Takac: Ministry Launches Three €900,000 Calls for Agriculture Financed by State

Bratislava, 1 June (TASR) - The Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry has launched three new calls for projects financed from the state budget worth a total of €900,000 to support professional organisations and projects in agriculture (€500,000), in forestry and hunting (€200,000) and in the food industry (€200,000), Agriculture Minister Richard Takac (Smer-SD) announced at a press briefing on Monday. "Through these financial resources, we're essentially supporting various associations and organisations, including professional bodies operating within the sector and under the Agriculture Ministry," said Takac. According to the minister, the calls are open to applicants from 1 to 30 June. Eligible expenditures may include those incurred as of 1 January of this year, while the project must be completely implemented by 31 December 2026. "I look forward to a press conference in about a week's time at which we'll announce another eight calls financed from European sources. These are so-called Strategic Plan calls worth around €300 million," added Takac. mf/df
