dnes 16:28
Bratislava, 1 June (TASR) - The Slovak police will again participate in Europe-wide Roadpol '2Wheelers' road safety campaign this year. From Monday to Sunday (7 June), police officers will focus on users of two-wheeled vehicles, primarily motorcyclists, cyclists and users of e-bikes and scooters. "We'll carry out checks throughout the week aimed at compliance with road traffic rules and safe behaviour on the roads. The checks will be focused mainly on compliance with the maximum permitted speed, dangerous overtaking, driving style and respect for other road traffic rules," the police have announced on social media. Police officers will also check the technical condition of two-wheeled vehicles and whether their users have consumed alcohol or other addictive substances. The traffic safety event is being held under the auspices of international organisation Roadpol. ko/df
