Final Work Underway on Roof of New Hospital in Martin

Martin, 28 May (TASR) - The contractor is carrying out the final work on the roof of the main building at the construction site of the new St. Martin's University Hospital, Martin University Hospital in Zilina region reported on social media on Thursday, adding that the foundations for a heliport in the south-eastern section have been completed. "Intensive work is underway on the hospital's exterior cladding from the fourth floor up," wrote the hospital, noting that staircases are being installed and that the bricklaying of interior partition walls has begun. The contract for the construction of the new 660-bed hospital in Martin was signed in early June 2024. The rough construction of the hospital is being funded by the recovery plan and must be completed by 30 June 2026.
