Police Conducting Operation in Bratislava Region Targeting Pharmaceutical Crime

Bratislava, 28 May (TASR) - Members of the pharmaceutical crime and police-customs cooperation division of the National Anti-Drug Unit of Police Corps Headquarters are conducting a police operation in Bratislava region under the codename APUS, targeting pharmaceutical crime, Police Corps Headquarters spokesperson Lea Vilhanova told TASR on Thursday, adding that one person has been detained so far. "The operation is being carried out in Bratislava region, primarily in the city of Bratislava. One person has been detained so far, and invasive procedures in the form of house searches and searches of other premises are currently underway," said the spokesperson, noting that the case is being carried out in relation to a suspicion of the crime of unauthorised handling of substances with anabolic or other hormonal effects.
