Slovak National Among Dead in Norway Fishing Boat Tragedy

Oslo/Bratislava, 13 May (TASR) - Three people died after a fishing boat capsized off Norway's western coast overnight into Monday, with the Slovak Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs confirming on Wednesday that one of the victims was a Slovak citizen. "The Slovak Embassy in Stockholm was informed by Norwegian police that a Slovak citizen was among the victims of the tragedy. Through our embassy, the ministry is in contact with the relevant institutions as well as with the relatives of the deceased. Due to personal data protection and the absence of consent from the persons concerned, the ministry cannot comment on the case in greater detail," the ministry stated. mf
