Bratislava, 29 April (TASR) - The police are dealing with a case involving threats and damage to the car of Let's Stop Corruption Foundation director Zuzana Petkova, Bratislava region police spokesperson Michal Szeiff confirmed for TASR on Wednesday. Szeiff said that the police are taking the necessary steps, but they haven't yet launched criminal prosecution. The case is being treated as a misdemeanour against civil coexistence and a misdemeanour against property, he added. "Officers of the Bratislava II District Police Directorate are working with several versions and are carrying out all necessary steps in order to duly clarify the matter," Szeiff has told TASR. Petkova posted on social media on Tuesday (28 April) that someone had vandalised her company car and that she'd received threatening messages. "I went to a police station to report that someone had vandalised my company car in front of my house. They broke a window, and damaged the upholstery and the bonnet. It wasn't a theft, nothing was missing from the car. In addition, I've been receiving aggressive, vulgar emails at my work address wishing me dead," she wrote. ko/df
