Bratislava, 26 April (TASR) - The suspicious object found on Razusovo nabrezie near the SNP Bridge in Bratislava earlier on Sunday was a replica grenade, the Bratislava region police reported on a social network, adding that the embankment has been reopened to pedestrians and traffic. "After inspecting the object, bomb disposal experts determined that it was a replica grenade. In this connection, an investigator from the Bratislava I District Police Corps Directorate has launched criminal prosecution for the crime of spreading a false alarm," stated the police. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the identity of the individual who placed the object on Razusovo nabrezie to contact them by sending a private message on social media, by visiting any local police station, or by calling 158. jrg
