Bratislava, 22 April (TASR) – Heads of state of the Austerlitz Format (S3: Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia) will meet in Bratislava on 12 May, when President Peter Pellegrini will host his Czech counterpart Petr Pavel and Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, TASR learnt from the President's Office press department on Wednesday. This will be the second meeting at the level of the countries' presidents. The first took place in March last year on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Austerlitz Declaration, the press department added. "The Bratislava summit will begin on Tuesday, 12 May, in the morning with a welcoming ceremony at Devin Castle and the laying of wreaths at the Gate of Freedom memorial. The presidents' talks will take place on a boat departing from beneath the Devin cliff and docking in Cunovo near the Danubiana modern art museum and gallery. The heads of state will hold a plenary session at these premises. Discussions are expected on current foreign policy issues, cross-border cooperation among S3 countries in strengthening the region's energy security, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in education," stated the President's Office. The summit will also include a meeting of secondary school students from S3 countries. As in the past, each country will be represented by students presenting three projects in the field of innovation and new technologies, which they will also showcase to the presidents. mf
