Minister Simkovicova Opens Slovak-Vietnamese Business Forum

Hanoi, 15 April (TASR) - Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee) together with Economy Ministry State Secretary Vladimir Simonak opened a Slovak-Vietnamese Business Forum on Wednesday in Ho Chi Minh City, TASR has been told by the Culture Ministry's communications department. The Slovak-Vietnamese Business Forum was aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between Slovakia and Vietnam. During the event, several memoranda of cooperation were signed between entities from both countries, with the goal of developing trade and investment relations. The programme also included a presentation of a major Slovak investment in Vietnam: the Friendship Tower office building. This project was carried out by CZ Slovakia investment group, which focuses on developing office and logistics parks. It's a 21-storey Class A office building with LEED certification, which confirms that it operates in an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient manner, added the ministry. am/df
