Fico Concludes His Three-day Official Visit to Vietnam

Hanoi/Bratislava, 14 April (TASR) - Slovak Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD), together with a delegation of ministers and businessmen, left Hanoi on Tuesday morning, thus concluding their three-day official visit to Vietnam.
During his visit to Hanoi, the premier paid tribute to communist leader Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and laid a wreath at the National Heroes and Martyrs Monument. He also met Vietnamese President To Lam.
Fico also held talks with the newly elected Vietnamese Premier, Le Minh Hung. During the Slovak delegation's visit to the country, Slovakia and Vietnam concluded a total of six agreements and memoranda of cooperation between the two countries' ministries and agencies.
The premier was accompanied on the foreign trip by Defence Minister Robert Kalinak (Smer-SD), Economy Minister Denisa Sakova (Voice-SD), Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD), Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky (Smer-SD), Agriculture Minister Richard Takac (Smer-SD) and Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee).
