Bratislava, 11 April (TASR) - Premier Robert Fico (Smer-SD) will leave for an official visit to Vietnam on Saturday evening, the Government Office's press department has informed TASR. During his visit to the country, Fico will meet new Vietnamese Premier Le Minh Hung and be received by Vietnamese President To Lam. Fico is scheduled to hold talks with his Vietnamese counterpart on Monday (13 April). The development of bilateral relations between the countries and the possibilities of elevating them to a higher level in the form of a strategic partnership will the high on the agenda of the talks. "The Slovak premier will also attend the opening of the Slovak–Vietnamese business forum," added the Government Office. The premier will return to Slovakia on Tuesday (14 April). He will be accompanied on the foreign trip by Defence Minister Robert Kalinak (Smer-SD), Economy Minister Denisa Sakova (Voice-SD), Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD), Finance Minister Ladislav Kamenicky (Smer-SD), Agriculture Minister Richard Takac (Smer-SD) and Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee).
