Voice-SD Welcomes President's Call to Ensure Continuity of Hospital Construction

Bratislava, 10 April (TASR) - The coalition Voice-SD party welcomes President Peter Pellegrini's call on political parties to ensure that strategic hospital construction continues even after the 2027 parliamentary elections, according to a statement made by party chairman Matus Sutaj Estok that has been provided to TASR by party spokesperson Michaela Eliasova. "Slovakia needs continuity in ongoing hospital projects as well as in further systemic steps that Health Minister Kamil Sasko [Voice-SD] is currently promoting on behalf of Voice. I consider it to be important that other political parties also commit themselves to this fundamental responsibility," said Sutaj Estok. In the coming days, President Peter Pellegrini will invite both coalition and opposition parties to sign a written commitment to continue with the construction of strategic hospitals after the 2027 parliamentary elections, regardless of the future government line-up, Pellegrini stated on social media on Friday. am/df
