Ryanair Cancels Flights to and from Italy Due to Air Traffic Controllers' Strike

Bratislava, 9 April (TASR) - Low-cost airline Ryanair has cancelled its scheduled flights from Bratislava to Milan and Naples and back on Friday (10 April) due to an air traffic controllers' strike in Italy, Bratislava airport spokesperson Veronika Demovicova confirmed for TASR on Thursday. "The airline itself has informed passengers about this fact by email, including information about further procedures," added Demovicova. Ryanair announced the cancellation of Friday's flights on its website. "Due to an air traffic control strike in Italy, we've been forced to cancel or reschedule a number of flights to and from Italy on Friday, 10 April. The affected passengers have been notified of the available options by email," stated the airline. At the same time, the airline asked all passengers travelling to and from Italy on 10 April to check the Ryanair app for the latest updates. ko/df
