Cabinet to Deal with New Government Council and Recovery Plan Progress Report

Bratislava, 8 April (TASR) - At its regular session on Wednesday, the government is expected to approve a proposal to establish the Government Council for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, sponsored by the Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry.
It should also appoint three new members of the Anti-monopoly Office's (PMU) Council for a five-year term, running from 13 May 2026 to 13 May 2031.
The cabinet should also approve a report on progress in the implementation of Slovakia's Recovery and Resilience Plan as of March 31. It includes an assessment of the progress made in fulfilling the tasks in relation to the risk measures of the recovery plan, as well as other necessary actions that investment and reform implementers must carry out within the specified deadlines to ensure that milestones and objectives are achieved on time and in full.
Ministers should also approve the establishment of a new Central Coordination Body for the Management of Administrative Buildings of Central State Administration Authorities.
The Sports Support Fund should provide the Interior Ministry with €15 million for the renovation and completion of the Police Sports Centre in Bratislava's borough of Dubravka. This is a sports infrastructure of national importance.
