Polish Visitor Killed after Falling from Balcony of Orava Castle

Oravsky Podzamok, 25 March (TASR) - A 72-year-old Polish visitor was killed at Orava Castle on Tuesday (24 March), spokesperson for the Emergency Medical Service Operations Centre Petra Klimesova has confirmed for TASR. The Projekt Orava local media outlet posted on a social network that the man died after falling from a balcony. "Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The 72-year-old man succumbed to his injuries, unfortunately," said Klimesova. The Orava Museum has declined to comment on the tragic incident for now. The police haven't commented on the tragedy, either. "Given the sensitivity of the case and out of respect for the bereaved, we won't provide any more details about it," said Zilina regional police spokeswoman Zuzana Sefcikova. ko/df
