Police: Fire in Bardejov Forces Evacuation of 33, No Injuries Reported

Bardejov/Bratislava, 24 March (TASR) - A fire in a residential building in Bardejov (Presov region), in the Dlha Luka borough, forced the evacuation of 33 people at around noon on Tuesday. As the Presov regional police reported on social media, no injuries were recorded. All emergency services were summoned to the scene. "Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the offence of general endangerment," the police said, adding that according to preliminary information from the fire investigator, the blaze was likely caused by electrical wiring. mf
