Police Investigate Damage to Shop and ATM in Kosice

Kosice/Bratislava, 22 March (TASR) – Police are investigating damage to a retail premises and an ATM in the Nad jazerom housing estate in Kosice. The regional police in Kosice reported on social media that shortly after 03:00 on Saturday (21 March) they received a report of damage to the property. Criminal investigators and experts from the Institute of Forensic Science were also deployed at the scene, and a dog handler with a service dog was called in. "Police officers continue to thoroughly verify all obtained information and are carrying out the necessary procedural acts," the police added. An investigator has launched criminal proceedings on suspicion of the offence of damaging and endangering the operation of a publicly beneficial facility.
