Investment Minister Migal Attends Conference on Digital Future in Presov

Presov, 19 March (TASR) - Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Minister Samuel Migal (Independent) on Thursday spoke at a conference called 'Digital Future' held in Presov for experts, local government representatives and entrepreneurs to discuss the double 'digital and green' transition. Organised by the Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry (MIRRI) in cooperation with the Digital Coalition and co-funded by the Slovakia Programme, the event aims to bring specific solutions and the latest innovation trends directly to the regions. "Investing in digital skills and modern technology is key for eastern Slovakia to become a competitive and modern region," stated Migal. The programme of the conference focuses on the practical aspects of transformation in the industry and energy sectors, while also offering seminars on real-life examples and consultations with experts from the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH). Visitors can put their their digital and green skills to the test in the interactive FutureSkills Lab zone. The conference also offers space for networking and discussions that could lay the groundwork for new partnerships and projects in eastern Slovakia. jrg/df
