MFA: Blanar to Leave for EU Foreign Affairs Council Meeting in Brussels

Bratislava, 15 March (TASR) - Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) is to leave for Brussels, where he will represent Slovakia at a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) in Brussels on Monday (16 March), the ministry's communication department has informed TASR. Developments in the Middle East, particularly in the context of the US and Israel's military operations against Iran, as well as the war in Ukraine will the high on the agenda of the meeting of EU foreign ministers. In Brussels, the minister will attend a working lunch of heads of European diplomacies with India's Foreign Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, with whom he will also hold bilateral talks. As part of his working programme, Blanar will also meet foreign affairs ministers of the Austerlitz format (S3: Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) countries. ko
