State Material Reserves Administration Launches Release of Emergency Oil Stocks

Bratislava, 6 March (TASR) - The State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) on Friday announced that it is taking steps to release part of its emergency oil reserves in line with the government resolution of 18 February. According to SSHR, the measure should ensure that crude oil supplies will remain stable and that oil processing in Slovakia can continue. The oil release itself is being carried out via the Agency for Oil and Oil Product Emergency Reserves. The first release order will cover the supply of 12,000 tonnes of oil to joint-stock company Slovnaft, with deliveries scheduled to begin on Saturday (7 March). ko/df
