Rasi to Meet Okamura to Discuss Cross-border Cooperation

Bratislava, 5 March (TASR) - House chair Richard Rasi (Voice-SD) will meet the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech parliament, Tomio Okamura, with the meeting slated to take place at the Memorial of Czech-Moravian-Slovak Togetherness in Velka Javorina, TASR learnt from Rasi's social network post. "Together with the leaderships of the parliaments and the Czech-Slovak friendship groups, we will discuss specific projects that will improve the lives of people in both countries, for example in transport or cross-border cooperation," he said. Both Rasi and Okamura welcomed the deepening of relations between the two countries. "We are fulfilling the promise that Czech-Slovak relations will be not only symbolic but also substantive," added Rasi. mf
