Rasi in Budapest: Slovakia Backs EU Enlargement in Southeast Europe

Budapest/Bratislava, 27 February (TASR-correspondent) – House chair Richard Rasi attended talks in Budapest on Friday on the state of European Union enlargement in Southeast Europe and the Economic and Investment Plan for the Western Balkans, TASR's special correspondent reported on the same day. The meeting was held as part of the Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of Southeast European Countries in an extended format. Rasi stated on social media that Slovakia has long supported the European prospects of the region. "Slovakia views enlargement as a key process which, through transformation, should ensure stability, security and prosperity not only for the candidate countries in the region, but also for Europe as a whole," said Rasi. mf
