dnes 13:14
Bratislava, 27 February (TASR) - The German tanker vessel called Nicole, which became stuck on the Danube River near Bratislava's borough of Devin in mid-January, was released on the afternoon of 11 February, the Transport Authority has confirmed for TASR. "The vessel was freed with the help of the tugboat Theresa with a floating platform and thanks to a slightly rising river level," explained the authority. The ship became stranded because the level of the Danube River was low. The vessel was stuck outside the shipping lane, and, although it slightly interfered with it, it didn't pose a problem. ko/df
