Bratislava, 23 February (TASR) - The government has consistently and long advocated a clear position on the war in Ukraine based on respect for international law and support for a just and lasting peace, emphasised Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD), adding that Slovakia will also voice this message on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the conflict in Ukraine at the most important multilateral forums, TASR was told by the ministry's communications department on Monday.
Slovakia's chief diplomat is due to speak on Tuesday (24 February) at the United Nations in Geneva and, via video message, at the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna. The Slovak Republic will also support a UN General Assembly resolution in New York aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
