Blanar to Attend EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels

Bratislava, 22 February (TASR) - Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) will travel to Brussels on Monday (23 February) to attend a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, TASR was told by the ministry's press department on Sunday. The main issues to be discussed by the foreign ministers of EU member states will include the war in Ukraine and developments in the Middle East, including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as well as the situation in Iran and Syria. As part of his working programme in Brussels, Blanar will also take part in a meeting of foreign ministers with the high-level representative for Gaza, Nickolay Mladenov. mf
