Slovak Start-ups Can Showcase Themselves at START Summit 2026 in Switzerland

Bratislava, 17 February (TASR) - The Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry (MIRRI) has announced a call to support the participation of Slovak firms at a start-up event called 'START Summit 2026', which will take place in St. Gallen, Switzerland on 19–20 March, TASR learnt from MIRRI on Tuesday.
Slovakia will have its own national stand at the event, and the ministry will support the participation of as many as eight best projects in the fields of digitisation, innovation and technological solutions with international growth potential.
"We want to open doors for our companies to investors, partners and new opportunities, while at the same time strengthening Slovakia's position on the European innovation map. I invite all Slovak technological talents, innovators and start-ups with global ambitions to join this call and show the world what Slovakia's technology top is capable of," said Investment Minister Samuel Migal (Independent).
The aim of the call is to help Slovak start-ups establish themselves on the global market, forge new partnerships and showcase the quality of Slovak technological solutions to investors, experts and innovation ecosystem leaders from around the world. According to the ministry, participation in START Summit is an opportunity to strengthen the international visibility of Slovak innovations and to support the growth of Slovakia's digital economy.
Those interested have between 16 February and 6 March to apply. The ministry is seeking innovative projects with global ambitions that have the potential to succeed in international competition and represent Slovakia at one of Europe's most prestigious start-up events.
