TASR released a story earlier on Tuesday that includes some incorrect data. In particular, the second sentence of the third paragraph incorrectly states that "the overall development was most significantly influenced by y-o-y drops in orders in the production of motor vehicles, semi-trailers and trailers (by 0.7 percent), in the production and processing of metals (1.9 percent) and in the production of electric appliances (12.8 percent). In fact, it should have stated: "the overall development was most significantly influenced by y-o-y drops in orders in the production of motor vehicles, semi-trailers and trailers (by 9 percent), in the production and processing of metals (6.3 percent) and in the production of electric appliances (9.4 percent). The fourth paragraph incorrectly states that "conversely, y-o-y growth was primarily seen in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (by 9.2 percent), in the production of other transport equipment (30.1 percent), and in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (6.3 percent). In fact, the paragraph should have stated the following: "conversely, y-o-y growth was primarily seen in the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products (by 47.9 percent), in the production of other transport equipment (147.5 percent), and in the manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (32.4 percent). The incorrect data was provided by the Statistics Office. We apologise for this error.
