Budapest, 15 February (TASR-correspondent) - Ukraine has still not resumed oil transport via the Druzhba pipeline, so Hungary and Slovakia have turned to Croatia to allow Russian oil to be transported via the Adria pipeline, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto posted on a social network on Sunday, reports a TASR correspondent in Budapest. In his post, the minister first pointed out that Hungary and Slovakia had previously pushed through the continuation of Russian oil purchases via the Druzhba pipeline, and that this sanction exemption also includes the fact that if transit via the pipeline becomes impossible, both countries can import Russian oil by sea. "However, Ukrainians still haven't resumed oil transport via the Druzhba pipeline for political reasons," stated Szijjarto, adding that on Sunday, together with Slovak Economy Minister Denisa Sakova (Voice-SD) they wrote a letter to Croatian Economy Minister Ante Susnjar, asking Croatia to immediately allow the transport of Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia via the Adria pipeline in accordance with Brussels rules. Ukraine stated that supplies have been halted as a result of Russia's attack on the pipeline infrastructure on 27 January. However, Szijjarto has suggested that Ukraine is preventing the restoration of electricity supplies needed to operate the pumps. am
