Bratislava, 13 February (TASR) - The Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation Ministry has recently signed seven contracts for non-refundable financial contributions totalling more than €9.2 million from the Slovakia 2021-2027 Programme, the ministry reported on Friday, adding that the support is directed towards education, transport infrastructure and the development of cycle transport.
The largest investments, totalling €6.6 million, have been earmarked for the Sajdikove Humence-Sastin-Straze cycle path and the Ponitrianska cycle route. "Each of these projects has a specific impact on the quality of life of people in the regions. It's great that support has been given not only to large investments, such as cycle routes and cycle paths, but also to smaller, yet very practical projects, such as the modernisation of local roads in Vranov nad Toplou [Presov region] for almost €765,000," said Investment Minister Samuel Migal (Independent).
