Stats: Nominal Salaries Up Y-o-Y in All Sectors of Economy in December 2025

Bratislava, 12 February (TASR) - Average nominal monthly salaries posted year-on-year (y-o-y) growth in all ten sectors monitored in December 2025, the Statistics Office reported on Thursday. The salary growth ranged from 3.7 percent in selected market services to 12 percent in pubs and restaurants. Five sectors recorded nominal salary increases exceeding 8 percent. Nine out of ten industries recorded real year-on-year salary growth (adjusted for inflation), with the growth ranging from 0.9 percent in the sale and repairs of vehicles up to 7.9 percent in pubs and restaurants. More dynamic growth of over 5 percent was also achieved by companies engaged in the IT and construction sectors. Meanwhile, selected market services were the only sector to see a salary decrease in real terms, going down by 0.1 percent y-o-y in December. ko
