Bratislava, 9 February (TASR) - Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) is set to visit Montenegro on Tuesday and Wednesday (10-11 February), the ministry's communications department told TASR on Monday, adding that he'll hold talks with the country's top officials.
"Slovakia's chief diplomat will hold bilateral talks with Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, Prime Minister Milojko Spajic, and Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations Ervin Ibrahimovic," said the communications department.
The ministry added that politicians will focus mainly on specific ways to strengthen relations and boost trade. "A key topic will be expressing continued support and sharing Slovakia's expertise in Montenegro's integration into the European Union. Montenegro is currently the leader of this process in the Western Balkans region," stated the ministry.
