Bratislava, 4 February (TASR) - The government will discuss a draft National Cybersecurity Strategy for 2026-2030 at its regular session on Wednesday.
The National Security Bureau (NBU), which submitted the document, emphasises that the strategy has been built on several pillars, including the development of national capacities in the field of cybersecurity and international cooperation. The framework strategy will serve as a basis for action plans setting out specific tasks for individual ministries and institutions.
The agenda of the session also includes the information on the critical condition and risks threatening the functionality of the central public administration website slovensko.sk. However, the Investment Ministry submitted this document to the cabinet session as limited information under the law on the protection of classified information. Therefore, its content was not made public.
The government will also deal with the information on the status of the controversial National Innovation and Technology Centre (NITC) project. According to document submitted by acting Vice-premier for the Recovery Plan and a Knowledge-based Economy Tomas Drucker (Voice-SD), the results of the audit, which also examines the purchase of the NITC premises in Voderady, will be published in February.
