Kia Slovakia Appoints First Slovak Vice-president for Production

Teplicka nad Vahom, 20 January (TASR) - Carmaker Kia Slovakia has appointed Roman Kralovansky to the post of vice-president and chief executive officer (CEO) for production, technological development and quality, company spokesman Tomas Potocek informed TASR on Tuesday, adding that he's the first Slovak vice-president in charge of production and quality management at Kia Slovakia.
In his new post, Kralovansky will be responsible for the strategic management of production, technological and quality procedures, while his reponsibilities will also include local quality management and cooperation with suppliers.
"My goal is to develop the strengths of our plant further and to promote innovation and cooperation across teams to ensure sustainable growth and that our currently produced Sportage, XCeed, EV4 models and the planned EV2 model will be of top quality. This is especially important during the transition to electromobility and when introducing new models into production,” said the new vice-president.
Kralovansky has been working for Kia Slovakia since 2005. He's held several posts in production and maintenance over the past two decades. "Since September 2022, he's served as head of the production sub-division, where his leadership skills have significantly contributed towards achieving exceptional results in the field of productivity, quality and technological innovation," said the spokesperson.
