Bratislava, 10 January (TASR) - The coalition Voice-SD party is aware of and analysing the decline in its popularity, party's vice-chairman and Parliamentary Chair Richard Rasi stated in an end-of-year interview with TASR. According to him, the main reason is the end of Peter Pellegrini's term as party chairman. However, he believes that the people will realise what Voice has managed to achieve in this government, and the party will return to the voter support it enjoyed in the last parliamentary election, i.e., around 15 percent. "The decline began when our former chairman and current president Peter Pellegrini left. He was an undisputed leader and the most prominent figure in Voice. So the decline was probably natural. I believe that we'll manage to stop it and that we'll succeed in translating everything that Voice ministers are doing for people into percentages. Our goal should be to return to the results we achieved in the previous election," Rasi told TASR. The House chair pointed out the high credibility of individual ministers representing Voice-SD. However, he believes that people are unable to associate their work with Voice-SD. He therefore spoke of the need for the party to improve its communication with the public. He also declared his support for current Voice chairman Matus Sutaj Estok, even in the context of the party's decline in voter support. Before taking office as president, Pellegrini was Voice-SD chairman and currently holds the title of founding chairman of the party. am
